Favorites secure playoff spots at V4 Future Sports Festival

FaZe, mousesports, HellRaisers, and Virtus.pro earned their spots in the playoffs on Sunday by placing top two in their respective groups at V4 Future Sports Festival.
Group A was the less stacked one of the tournament and kicked off with HellRaisers taking on Dark Tigers. The Czech team manage to surprise Kirill "ANGE1" Karasiow and co. and take a tie on the second map, Inferno, but that would end up being their only positive result from the tournament. By taking two map wins over GameAgents shortly after, HellRaisers were set for a playoff appearance on Sunday.
FaZe started off their tournament run a bit later in the day and didn't really struggle much, cleaning up Dark Tigers 16-5, 16-5 and GameAgents 16-10, 16-10. The final match between FaZe and HellRaisers only decided seeding, and the European team claimed the first place into the playoffs with a 16-10 win on Inferno.
MOUZ started off group B with a match against x-kom, who showed some good stuff at their first international tournament, but didn't really threaten Chris "chrisJ" de Jong's team at any point. MOUZ split points with Virtus.pro later in the day, despite looking very dominant on Nuke (16-1) and starting well on Train, which ended 16-13 in favor of the Poles.
To secure playoffs, Tomáš "oskar" Šťastný and Martin "STYKO" Styk had to deal with their Czech-Slovakian countrymen from eXtatus, managing a fairly contested 2-0, in the end, to take first seed in the playoffs. Due to a lost map to eXtatus earlier in the tournament, Virtus.pro had everything on the line in the last game against their countrymen x-kom.
Krzysztof "stark" Lewandrowski and co. were on fire during the first half of the first map, taking an 11-4 CT lead on Inferno, but couldn't close out the game and Virtus.pro made a comeback spearheaded by Michał "MICHU" Müller. The final score was 16-14, and Virtus.pro followed that up with a 16-2 thrashing on Mirage to finish off the day.
