Luminosity win MAX5 Invitational

Luminosity cement their status as the region's best with a dominant 3-0 defeat of Keyd Stars in the MAX5 Invitational grand finals (16-4 on de_cache, 16-2 on de_mirage, and 16-11 on de_cbble).
Taking place inside of the Mega Arena X5 in São Paulo, the MAX5 Invitational brought together nine Brazilian teams and one Argentinian team in a five day long South American duel to determine the region's best.
The group stage saw a few notable teams fail to make the playoffs of the event, such as Raphael "cogu" Camargo's INTZ, Lucas "steel" Lopes's CNB, and perhaps most surprisingly a Games Academy team that included Ricardo "boltz" Prass.
Luminosity win in São Paulo
In the playoffs of MAX5, it was g3x and Caio "zqkS" Fonseca's AlienTech that fell aside (AlienTech won the third place decider), meaning that the final face-off would be between the tournament favourites Luminosity and Keyd Stars.
Luminosity, who are currently ranked seventh in the world in our official team ranking, had a breeze for most of the best-of-five grand final against Keyd Stars, whose lineup included Renato "nak" Nakano, the previous coach for Luminosity.
After a 16-4 win on de_cache and a 16-2 destruction on de_mirage against Keyd, Luminosity went up 14-1 on the third map of de_cbble before Keyd Stars finally showed some signs of life in the game and began to claw their way back. In the end however, Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo and his men got the final two rounds and won the map 16-11.
